POTENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS OF REIKI
Reiki is an alternative treatment that heals the mind, body and spirit. Reiki involves the client to decide if he wants to be healed or not. If the client blocks the Reiki energy process, then the client will not benefit from the treatment.
When the flow of the “Life Force Energy” called the chi, is disrupted, blocked, weakened, health or emotional problems tend to occur. Many imbalances can be caused from situations occurring in our lives such as: trauma either physical or emotional, injury, negative self-talk, nutritional depletion, negative thoughts and feelings including worry, doubt, fear, anxiety, anger, toxicity, destructive relationships and lifestyle, lack of love for others or self, neglect of self, and from emotions that are not expressed in a healthy way. Reiki is excellent for healing any physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues of any kind and can have wonderful results.

It has been proved that Reiki can help people suffering from various minor and major ailments. It is even used as a complementary conventional therapy in many hospitals today. Reiki has helped patients with physical ailments and also those with minor psychological problems as well. Reiki has even helped people improve their overall personality allowing them to be more positive and loving.

Some of the benefits of Reiki include:It has been debated among Reiki practitioners whether to charge for Reiki or not. As Reiki healing uses the Universal energy force a number of Reiki Masters think you should not charge for healing and teaching Reiki. Other Reiki Masters feel since they are providing a service to the client, they should charge a nominal amount. These Reiki Masters feel the client will not value the service if it is free or have any gratitude for it unless there is a monetary value attached to it.
In order to continue the good task of healing, the practitioner has to keep their body and soul together, for this they need money. Hence a practitioner should charge a small fee in order to maintain themselves in this world where everything costs money.
I have been working with Reiki since 1996 when I became attuned to Reiki and I have kept the same cost of training that I paid 15 years ago. It is my belief that everyone can become a Reiki practitioner to be able to go out and help heal others and the world. As I believe that everyone deserves the access to therapies that may help them heal, I have kept my fee for a Reiki treatment at $25 for approximately 35 minutes. Results from a Reiki treatment may differ from one person to the next, so I suggest that each client try at least three (3) Reiki treatments within a maximum of three (3) weeks so they can see exactly what Reiki may do for them.
